On 22 June 2026, in the newly opened Centre for Excellence at the „Tsar Ivan Asen II" Vocational High School for Woodworking and Construction in Haskovo, the diploma ceremony for the Class of 2026 took place — a moment full of joy, gratitude, and new expectations.
For the NJN Ltd. team, this day carries a special meaning: some of this year's graduates spent their on-the-job training right here with us — in the laboratory for concrete and aggregates testing, in the construction products certification department, and across the day-to-day operations of our accredited body. We watched them grow — from the first days of learning the procedures, through to independently carrying out tests, drafting protocols and working with real clients. That is why it is a true pleasure to see them today, diplomas in hand.
The business — education link that delivers results
The students' on-the-job training took place under project BG05SFPR001-3.001-0001 „Modernisation of Vocational Education and Training", co-financed by the European Union through the Education for Smart Growth programme. The aim of the project is precisely this — for students to step out of the classroom and meet the real working environment, the genuine demands of employers, and the pace of everyday professional life.
That was exactly our role in the project — to provide a place where young people could:
- work with real laboratory equipment and modern testing methods;
- get familiar with the requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17025, EN ISO/IEC 17065 and EN ISO/IEC 17021-1;
- see firsthand the process of assessing the conformity of construction products under Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 and the national framework;
- build experience in teamwork, test documentation, and client communication.
This is hands-on training that complements theoretical knowledge and gives them something no textbook can — the confidence that they can do it.
Centre for Excellence — a place we believe in
In May 2026 we supported the opening of the Centre for Excellence itself at the Tsarska Gimnazia. We are glad that today — just one month later — that same space welcomed the Class of 2026 in the brightest moment of their school journey. When business, school and European programmes work together, the result is visible literally — in the smiles of the graduates, the diplomas in their hands, and the future ahead of them.
The school is developing modern programmes — a CNC workshop, a design studio, an embedded control systems laboratory, and a forestry mechanisation laboratory. These specialities match the needs of industry and align with our own professional fields.
Thanks and best wishes
We thank the school's leadership and the teachers for the trust they placed in our team by sending their students to us. We also thank the students themselves — for their conscientiousness, curiosity, and willingness to learn. You were excellent colleagues during those weeks and left behind only good impressions.
To the Class of 2026 we wish health, success, and courage in what comes next — whether that means higher education, your own professional path, or your first steps at work. The door of NJN Ltd. will always be open to you.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓
